Looking for a fun and creative way to bring your team together? The YWCA Hamilton MakerSpace offers hands-on team-building workshops that encourage creativity, collaboration and connection.

From collaborative art projects to friendly design challenges, our workshops give your group the opportunity to try something new, share ideas and create something together in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

No creative experience is necessary, just bring your team and a willingness to have fun!

The Big Picture: Collaborative Mural

Bring individual ideas together to create one shared work of art! Each participant contributes to a collaborative mural that celebrates your team's creativity and collective vision.

The Maker Challenge

Put your team's creativity to the test! Work in small groups to brainstorm, design and build an original creation using a selection of MakerSpace materials. Can your team turn an idea into reality?

Brand It Together

Think creatively and collaborate on a brand from the ground up. Your team will invent a fictional business, develop its visual identity and create promotional materials in this fun, hands-on design challenge.

Design Your Team Tote

Get creative and make something uniquely yours! Personalize a tote bag using colours, patterns, stencils and other creative techniques. Everyone leaves with a practical keepsake of the experience.

Knot Your Average Team Building

Slow things down and learn something new together. Discover the basics of macramé in a guided workshop where participants can share ideas, learn new techniques and create a handmade piece to take home.

Team Affirmation Art

Celebrate the strengths that make your team unique. Create uplifting artwork inspired by shared values, positive messages and individual creativity.

The Great Product Design-Off

Challenge your team to invent something new! Work together to develop a product idea, create a simple prototype and design its packaging or promotional materials. Finish by presenting your creation to the group.
